Ok, so items u drop in a friend's pack are safe..... but does this ever change? I feel like once the safe items in a friend's pack changed to become stealable. Just wondering how this works...

Things you've dropped in another persons pack will never be stealable by you again, however, other people may steal them. This was put in place to stop people from using in active packs to store cards for later =) - Tif

Hi, A complement to the New Releases Page (which btw is excellent, thank you :) ) would be a mailing list sending out a notification that new cards have arrived. Could be a nice feature :) Thanks for a good and helpful site. /Fredrik.

It's a part of the system already. First thing you'll need is an account. You can add the New Releases page (or any other page) to your watch list from the Watch link in the upper righthand corder. Then under the preferences, you can set it up to email you when a page you watch has changed. timdorr 10:27, 15 May 2008 (EDT)

[edit] trouble with my vault

This may not be the right place to ask but I need help. My vault page will not show me what I have. It is blank and says that the page has expired. I cannot remember what I already have in there making it very hard to complete my sets. Can anyone tell me how to fix it.

Just started playing, and I can't find any instructions on how to do a Feat of Wonder. Can you help me please?

For now, just complete a set in your vault. In the future, there might be other activities that get you these kinds of cards. But for now, it's just the completing sets. timdorr 16:21, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

[edit] Better graphics for cards

Hi I saw a piece in the news that there was a way to get better resolution images.

The examples looked great. Is there a way to copy the hi-res versions into your vault?

And thanks so much for this site. It is really helpful and I don't think I would ever have managed to complete even one set without it!

Do you mean your vault on PackRat? This site isn't run by Alamofire. =) The only way I know of to view a high res picture of a card you love is to flip it over in your vault and view the prettiness there. -Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 01:29, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

when I buy from the market and want that same item again, how long will that item say "recently purchased" before I can buy another one?

After buying an item, you cannot purchase a duplicate until it shows up again in a separate slot. So if you buy a Scroll, you cannot buy from that slot again until the Scroll has sold out. -Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 01:06, 11 June 2008 (EDT)

[edit] It's just a game!!

How sad. I added a new friend that I thought would be a good source to pick up some new items. They accepted. And as an available resource I used the "Unlock" mechanism to "steal" an item I needed. The next day I get some "smack" from the friend indicating that I was not suppose to unlock the item because they were working on a specific set. I have apologized but the obsession has amazed me. It's a dang game!!! There is so much reading to do about this game that I just started playing (by invitation) learning the tricks and tips along the way and it can be a little obsessive. One player even told me that they spend 10 to 14 hours playing - Wow! So is there something I am missing - excluding the human nature of obsessivness - that states that I cannot utlize these tools you have created? Thank you for allowing me to vent. Otherwise it's a fun and creative game!

[edit] Netscape Navigator - can't see pictures

Hi, I was wondering if any computer geniuses out there might know why I can't see the cards on Packrat when I use Netscape Navigator. When I first started playing, a few months ago, it was fine, and I could see everything... But, not long afterward, something went haywire, and now I can only see the outlines of cards, and black writing saying "5 (or whatever number it is) credits" where the credit graphic should be, and the outlines/point values of pop-ups. I can still click on them, but I don't know what they are!!! Any ideas as to what went wrong? I saw on the discussion boards that other people have had this problem with other browsers. My firefox browser allows me to see everything fine, but it is so SLOW that I would much prefer to use navigator. Any ideas about what's going on or how I might fix the problem? Thanks for any help you can give me.

[edit] How do I know when I have a set?

When I try and vault 5 cards that are from the same set (not alike) I get this message: "Sorry, you can't vault that set. Remember, a set is at least 5 identical, or 5 or more unique items from the same collection." How do I know what "unique" items are from the collection?

A= You need 5 different cards of the same collection (e.g. A.R.) you cannot vault: two shields, one stone gollen, one wizard, two Alfgar.

You need to either vault: 5 Alfgar or any combination of 5 different cards: one Legendary sword, one alfgar, one dragon, one castle, one succubus (only an example)

Hi, you need to update the collections page, it is not showing the two latest collection (Lucha Libre and Toys Toys Toys) though they are in the main page.

=) When the new collections are released, if I'm online I lock down the Wiki and get it done as fast as I can. If you ever see that it's not there, you can always make a placeholder (just use the template that we have in place for the collection). If you don't feel comfortable doing that (which is okay, some people don't) please don't hesitate to send me a message from my profile and let me know it's not up. When I get on, I tend to check that right away and I'll update the Wiki as soon as I can.

I'm letting this be known because I'm anticipating a new collection soon and I know for sure I'm not going to be online every waking second so there's a chance that if nobody with the Wiki Know-How is online, than it won't get done. -Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 03:16, 27 July 2008 (EDT)

I am trying to make a praying mantis in the full bloom set, but it keeps telling me that receipe isn't recognized...what do I do now? How do I make it work?

I just noticed while making two cards that I received two times the face value of the card I made, not just the value, in points. I made the Strip from Rat Pack (a 15000 face value) and received 30000 points. I then made a Jackpot (50000 face value) and received 100000 points. Can someone verify that this is happening for them also and update the wiki? I'm not a good editor and feel better leaving it to the pros.

Hi, I'm new to the discussion board, but find it very amusing. I want to delete some of my old posts, because there is no reason for it to be on there anymore. When I do that it tells me: Your getting close to the limit of posting on boards, slow down or you will hit a wall.

What does this mean? I can't post anything either... Is there no way of deleting old messages? I find no reason for the old ones to be on the boards, no reason to fill up the space for new posts.

I am new and I noticed a couple of the collections have a number of cards that are not a multiple of five. How do you add the cards not in groups of five?

That's because you don't have to have the same collection, just the same color. 5 unique cards of the same color can go into the vault.

You don't have to add just 5 either, you can add any number of unique cards as long as there are at least 5 from the same family. The same with copies of 1 card, e.g: you can vault 7 Peace Man. --angelsk 04:45, 13 January 2009 (EST)

Are there any Firefox edits that work on the new packrat similar to the scripts that made the credits show up in the same place, made for quicker pack surfing and less chance to miss those credits. Is anyone working on it? Thanks WIKI, you guys are great !

I'm new to the game, but enjoying so far! I noticed that one of my friends (real friend) has pack space for 13 cards. I haven't found a thread to explain why some packs are larger than others. Any suggestions on how I can make mine bigger? Thx

Hi, There are 2 reasons why some people's packs are larger.
1) They are an XL subscriber. For US$10 a month, you get 30 spaces in your pack, and a monthly allowance of tickets. (It's currently 50 per month. It used to be 100, but that was a limited time offer). Also, you get extra tickets when you purchase them. The devs have promised more benefits.
2) Some people may have previously had XL or played when a larger pack was available. If they stopped playing before the limit was changed to 15 or their XL ran out whilst having more than 15 cards in their pack, they will remain there.

Music of Michael Jackson is going to live for ever no matter what, I think It's became a  legendof 'pop', He was so  stressfullast time and has lots of problems, poor guy - that was probably end for him - so sad all we can do is keep his music  in our hearts.
