[edit] Editing Recipes

A little reminder everyone. Please don't remove confirmed non-recipes (recipes that have been tried and do not work) unless the entire set has been completed. Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 19:28, 11 May 2008 (EDT)

[edit] New format

Okay, I worked a little this morning on putting together a new format for reporting disproved recipes (suggesting recipes doesn't get too bad, so that doesn't need to change). It's in table format (I like tables) and I made the left column sortable, just click the little arrow at the top.

I do realize there is one flaw in the way this is set up. Items added in the A + B + C section might be difficult to immediately confirm (meaning some items already included in the table may make a recipe), but for simplicity's sake I'm ignoring that minor problem. There has never really been any problem finding recipes, so this entire page is just a reference for discovering new recipes.

If that made no sense, just don't worry about it. =)

Lemme know if you like it or not and feel free to either make recommendations or make some changes yourself! -Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 18:16, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

I love it! Really, I do. ^_^ I used to organize the possible recipes on the old wiki, but gave up when it got messy. xD Grace 22:41, 25 May 2008 (EDT)
Yay! =) It seems that everyone likes it. =) I'm working on a way to guess new recipes right now. John got the ball rolling, but I think there's a better place for it than here. -Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 22:45, 25 May 2008 (EDT)

Okay so I am okay with the new table idea looks nice and neat. But, it is even harder now to check if a recipe has been added. Could we not put item in some kind of order. I would suggest in the order in our packs. As new items are added they can be put in between. This would make it quicker to see if something has been missed or not checked. I tend to be a little anal about stuff like this but it would prevent duplicates from happening like the edit I just made to the wake board, (keep forgetting to sign-in. I'm willing to do the cutting and pasteing if you want.SandyBear 8:40pm EDT

Hmm, I'm not QUITE sure what you mean. Are you saying you use this page to find out if there's a new item? There's an entirely different section for that: New Releases =) I see that you might mean that there's no particular order when they're added. That's true, you can go ahead and change them around as long as you make sure to not delete them. I'm not going to worry about them too much because this page is rather fluid. By the end of this set, all this information is going to be gone. -Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 21:20, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

Oh I'm sorry you miss understood. I know about the new releases page. Yes to the second half. Your right that it only going to be around so long... then its gone. But then their is the next set and the next. SandyBear

No, that's fine. I agree, I'm more OCD than anyone else who edits, but I don't see how we can impose a sense of order on a very temporary page. So if you want to rearrange them in vault order, I'm okay with that, but I'm not too concerned with it. =) -Colin (Page | Talk | Pack) 12:25, 25 May 2008 (EDT)
